Aditya Birla Sun Life Corporate Bond Fund invests at least 80% of its corpus in high-quality corporate bonds rated AAA and AA+. Over the past three years, it has delivered a compounded annualised return of 8%.
Large allocation to highest-rated bonds reduces the scheme's credit risk; hence it is suitable for investors with an appetite for low risk and with a time horizon of three years. Low sector concentration and spreading portfolio across 140-188 debt papers (over the past year) mitigates risk. It follows a blend of accrual and duration strategies.
