BMW launched the new X3 earlier this week at Deutsche Motoren, the BMW dealership in Noida, according to a company press release. The new version of the SUV is locally produced at the BMW Plant Chennai in a diesel variant and is now available at dealerships across India. The all India ex-showroom price for the BMW X3 xDrive 20d Expedition is ₹44,90,000 and the xDrive 20d xLine is priced at ₹49,90,000.
The new BMW X3 is available in Alpine White as non-metallic paintwork and in the following seven metallic paintworks: Black Sapphire, Deep Sea Blue, Glacier Silver, Sparkling Brown, Space Grey, Mineral Silver and Melbourne Red. The standard Nevada leather upholstery is available in Black, Beige, Oyster, Saddle Brown and Mocha colour combinations. Interior trims offered are Fine-wood Trim Burled Walnut with highlight trim finishers Pearl Chrome.
This pushes the engine output to 190 hp with the maximum torque of 400 Nm. The increase in performance cuts the vehicle’s 0 to 100 kmph acceleration to just 8.1 seconds with a top speed of 210 kmph. Driving Experience Control switch fitted as standard in the new BMW X3 lets the driver choose between different driving modes to suit the driving conditions (ECO PRO, Comfort and Sport).
With BMW EfficientDynamics, the SUV is equipped with the new technology packages to reduce fuel consumption and increase performance such as Intelligent Lightweight Construction, Auto Start-Stop, ECO PRO mode, Brake-Energy Regeneration, 50:50 Weight Distribution and many other innovative technologies.
