Sticking to its commitment to bring new products more often, Hero Motocorp has brought in two different styles of motorcycles in the 100cc segment, which is essentially the commuter segment.
The first of these two motorcycles is the new Splendor Pro Classic, first showcased at this year’s Auto Expo.
The Splendor Pro Classic comes with a rather vintage café racer styling with a sporty handlebar, retro-styled café cowl, a single café seat, classic round headlamp and tail lamp, a rounded console with lots of chrome. Hero has applied generous amount of chrome even on the fenders, winkers, suspension covers and rear-view mirrors, to complete the café racer styling. Powering the Splendor Pro Classic is a single-cylinder, air-cooled 100cc mill that delivers a maximum power output of 8.36 PS @ 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 8.05 Nm @ 5000 rpm.
The other motorcycle in this launch is the Passion Pro TR that comes with an on-and-off-road bike styling, and is aimed at the younger riders. To give it the off-road treatment, the Passion Pro TR has been outfitted with sturdier handlebars with cross brace, high front fender with hugger, knee pad for better grip, headlight grill, hand guards for added protection during off-road usage, special tyre tread for better road grip, bash plate to shield engine, designer knuckle guard and fuel tank pads, as stated in the official release. This bike comes with a 4-stroke single cylinder 100cc motor that churns out 7.8 PS of power at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 8 Nm @ 4500 rpm.
The Splendor Pro Classic is now available at ₹48,650 (ex-showroom Delhi), and the Passion Pro TR is available for ₹51,550 (ex-showroom Delhi).
