French car maker Renault has launched the new Duster Adventure edition in the country, which the company claimed has 17 new enhancements to its credit. The popular SUV will be available in three versions — the Adventure Edition RXE 85 PS, Adventure Edition RXL 85 PS and Adventure Edition RXZ AWD 110 PS.
The Duster Adventure’s exteriors get “adventure branded” style decals, along with a matte black wheel arch and door claddings. This, along with mustard yellow-coloured roof rails, a new shiny black front grille, and a tailgate embellisher give the SUV a rugged, sporty look.
The interiors of the car also have a fair bit of mustard yellow sprinkled on them, with air vents and the instrument cluster center ring coming in the colour. The steering also gets a leather wrap with a similarly-coloured stitch line. The Duster Adventure features first-in-class stone washed denim seats, with removable seat covers, making it convenient for cleaning. The floor mats also get denim styled borders and are Adventure branded.
The SUV is powered by the company’s K9K 1.5-litre dCi engine, with two power variants — 85 PS and 110 PS. The 110 PS version features a six-speed manual transmission and a claimed mileage of 19.72 km per litre. The 85 PS version comes with five-speed manual transmission, and a claimed mileage of 19.87 km per litre.
The Duster Adventure gets tech-savvy with the ‘SmartApp’, which is a device and an app that helps drivers interact with their vehicle. It comes with pre-set goals for speed, time, and distance, and also keeps trip records in real time.
It also offers safety alerts and is available on the Android and iOS platforms. The Duster Adventure starts at a price of ₹9.64 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), and can be booked at all dealerships across the country and on the Renault Duster App available on Android and iOS.
