Vista Alegre
Known to be used in the White House in the US and by the queen of England, Vista Alegre has earned respect and reputation over the years. It is a 150-year-old Portuguese company that manufactures high-end porcelain and crystalware, the sixth largest company in the world for tableware. Their collection includes dinner sets, decorative pieces, gift items, a crystal range, strong tableware, bar, winery, lighting and stationery. Their new collection, Transatlantica dinner sets is created around the theme of multicultaralism, by the Brazilian designer Brunno Jahara, in commemoration of the Year of Portugal in Brazil. Available in OMA stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Bengaluru from this month.
ITC Kohenur
All you frequent travellers to Hyderabad, here is another reason to rejoice. ITC has opened a brand new property in Hyderabad, open to all from the first week of June. Overlooking the picturesque Durgam Lake in Hitec City, the hotel will have 271 spacious rooms, along with suites and serviced apartments that claim to be the roomiest in the city. The Starwood affiliated property will also house old favourites of ITC such as Dum Pukht and Golconda Pavilion. The decor of the hotel has been kept indigenous to the State.
Sans Souci
Sans Souci, a Czech Republic-based producer of decorative lighting fixtures, glass objects and architectural features, has launched a new collection of lighting installations, called Nuggets. The collection features distended lighting structures, that serve the purpose of both ambient lighting and a statement decor item in your living room. They can be fixed into the wall or suspended from the ceiling. Blending innovation and technique, this collection is versatile, aimed at being a talking piece in the space it is in.
