1 Every day, even on Sundays, I make it point to walk at least 10,000 steps and intersperse it with activities like taking the steps rather than the elevator, whenever possible.
2 My daily diet includes a generous portion of raw vegetables and fresh fruits. White foods, especially processed and refined food products, are an absolute no-no for me.
3 A 3S Mantra to stay happy – (Smile, Stretch & Sing) Smiling cuts stress, stretching enables muscles to work harder, singing is fun and also gets the lungs to function better.
4 I cherish time with my family, my parents, siblings and my immediate family. I make it a point to call and speak to all of them every day. This infuses me with positivity and reminds me to cherish each day.
5 Prayer and meditation are integral to my daily routine. Working in a hospital is the greatest leveller and prayer and meditation help me maintain my inner wellness and spiritual quotient.
