The first WHO Traditional Medicine Global Summit will take place in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on August 17,18. It will be alongside the G20 health ministerial meeting to mobilise political commitment & evidence-based action on traditional medicine. Around 40 per cent of pharmaceutical products today have a natural product basis.
