The world’s most extravagant computer expo, Computex 2025, unfolded in Taiwan, the global powerhouse of chip manufacturing, with an emphasis on AI-powered personal technology. The technology has only grown more powerful, as evidenced by this year’s show, where industry leaders like AMD and Intel unveiled next-gen processors with advanced neural capabilities. From cutting-edge handheld gaming devices to portable AI PCs, Computex 2025 established that AI is redefining the future of tech.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang once again dominated the spotlight at Computex, with attendees scrambling around to catch a glimpse of their national icon and local media outlets obsessively reciting his “schedule”. The GPU behemoth also announced that Taiwan’s top system makers will build NVIDIA DGX Spark and DGX Station systems through partnerships with Acer, GIGABYTE, and MSI. These expanded partnerships aim to bring NVIDIA’s personal AI supercomputers to a broader market.

AMD made a powerful showing with the launch of Radeon RX 9060 XT and Radeon AI PRO R9700 GPUs, along with the Ryzen Threadripper 9000 Series, engineered to address workloads in gaming, content creation, professional industries, and AI development.
The RX 9060 XT, built on AMD RDNA 4, offers 1440p gaming with enhanced ray tracing and up to 16GB GDDR6 memory. The AI PRO R9700 targets AI workloads with 32GB VRAM, Gen 5 support, and multi-GPU scalability. The Threadripper 9000 lineup, including the 96-core PRO 9995WX, delivers massive performance for VFX, simulation, and AI model development, with enterprise features and PCIe 5.0 support.
Acer broadened its Copilot+ PC lineup with six new Aspire AI laptops featuring Intel, AMD, and Snapdragon chips, up to 32GB RAM, and OLED displays. These devices, available in 14- and 16-inch models, are primarily targeted towards students, professionals, and families, with support for local AI tasks and extended battery life.
They integrate Microsoft’s AI tools — including Recall and Enhanced Windows Search — alongside Acer’s own productivity and conferencing enhancements. In gaming, Acer unveiled two Predator QD-OLED monitors — X27U F5 (WQHD, 500Hz) and X27 X (4K, 240Hz) — along with new Nitro smart monitors with Google TV. The Nitro PG271K brings 4K resolution to a compact form factor.
Acer also ventured into the wearables market with the FreeSense Ring and AI TransBuds, offering health tracking and real-time translation across 15 languages. In mobility, Acer launched new e-scooters and e-bikes, such as the Predator Storm and eRanger, featuring app-connected features and adaptive safety tech.
ASUS unveiled four Radeon RX 9060 XT GPUs across its TUF, Prime, and Dual lines, featuring DisplayPort 2.1a, compact designs, and support for FSR 4. ASUS also rolled out Expert P-series Copilot+ PCs, powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors. The lineup includes ExpertBook laptops, ExpertCenter desktops, AIOs, and the palm-sized PN54 Mini PC, all optimised for AI-driven business tasks with advanced security and sustainability in mind.
ExpertBook P3 (PM3) laptop, ExpertCenter P700 (PM700MK, PM700SK) desktops, ExpertCenter P600 (PM640, PM670) all-in-one PCs, and ExpertCenter PN54 Mini PCs are engineered to deliver lightning-fast AI computing, seamless productivity, and enhanced security for working professionals — all within a future-ready, sustainable design.
The ExpertBook P3 Series is available in 14-inch (PM3406) and 16-inch (PM3606) variants and is powered by up to AMD Ryzen AI PRO 7 processors with 45W TDP, and delivers up to 66 total system TOPS of AI performance.

Intel expanded its Arc Pro GPU family with the Arc Pro B60 and B50, built for AI inference and workstation tasks, featuring Xe2 architecture and XMX AI cores. Also revealed were Gaudi 3 AI accelerators for scalable enterprise deployments and Project Battlematrix, a Xeon-based reference platform capable of supporting up to eight Arc GPUs.
MSI unveiled the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50, which it claims is the world’s first 27” QD-OLED gaming monitor with real-time human detection. Featuring 1440p resolution, a 500Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms response time, it combines top-tier visuals with OLED Care 3.0 to extend the panel’s lifespan. MSI also highlighted Silent Storm Cooling AI in its gaming desktops, using adaptive algorithms for optimised, quiet performance.
Synology showcased the BeeStation Plus, a personal NAS offering 8TB of storage, tailored for families. It supports iCloud photo backups, Plex streaming, and robust local/off-site backup via BeeProtect, ensuring privacy and data security at home.
