From home appliances to safety devices, the Internet of Things has become a part of our lives. A lot of companies are launching gadgets ranging from smart plugs to GPS trackers. Security is a major issue for those living in cities and thefts, missing persons are major concerns.

Letstrack, a UK-based app platform, has come out with a variety of tracking devices to keep an eye on your loved ones and belongings.

It brings real-time GPS tracking capabilities through its smartphone tracking and chatting app and standalone tracking devices.

The company has designed a variety of tracking devices at different prices. I got to review Letstrack Personal I, which is designed to monitor people and vehicles (cars, bikes, etc).

Easy to keep

It can be placed in a bag or kept in a pocket and tracks whatever you need it to in the shortest time. I kept the device in my friend’s bag and kept watch on him for an entire day. I found it very useful as it gave me complete details of my friend’s journey.

Panic button

The SOS button on the device is very useful as it kept sending me alert messages in real-time with complete location details. It is very useful for women and children who travel alone.

The device also provides round-the-clock history on a single screen. This feature helps get all details that you miss when unable to track in real-time.

Track your vehicle

You can set your own speed limit and get alerts when nearing them. It also gave alerts on fuel consumption, fuel cost, total stops, average speed, maximum speed, etc. You can also create special zones to track your vehicle. I selected certain areas to track and I got notifications once the device entered or exited them.

This device can also store offline GPS data and can store the device’s locations even if it is offline (GPRS unavailable and GPS available) and post the offline history data to the server as soon as the device is back online and connected to GPRS.
